Civil Servants Without Vaccination to Suffer Consequences Jan 17

Civil Servants without a jab of the Covid-19 Vaccine will be facing sanctions from the Federal Government as another deadline has been set on January 17.

To enforce this punishment if they fail to comply with the directive will be the Federal Capital Territory Administration, FCTA.

The action that would be taken against unvaccinated Government Workers is that FCTA would hinder them from gaining access into their Ministries, Departments and Agencies, MDAs, among other parastatals, from January 17.

The message is coming from the Senior Special Assistant to FCT Minister on Media and Strategic Communication, Abubakar Sani.

On Tuesday, he announced that the warning is contained in a circular signed by the FCTA permanent secretary, Olusade Adesola.

The communications officer clarified that the circular was addressed to the Federal Capital Development Authority, FCDA, Executive Secretary, mandate secretaries, Abuja Metropolitan Management Council, AMMC coordinator, and other top officials.

He pointed out how important it is for workers to take the vaccination seriously and collect the certifications once concluded.
