Civil Servants in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, who failed to receive the COVID-19 Vaccine have been hindered from gaining access into their workspace.
Recall that the Federal Government issued a directive instructing the workers to receive a jab of the Vaccine before the December 1 deadline.
Observations within the nearest vaccination centres showed that the workers hurriedly stormed the spots to get a shot of the AstraZeneca Vaccine.
According to reports making the rounds yesterday, many persons who attempted to get vaccinated unfortunately failed because of the crowd.
Meanwhile, several were stopped from entering their offices at the federal secretariat for failing to beat the deadline as instructed by the Nigerian government.
A few months back, BossMustapha-led presidential steering committee on COVID-19 had announced government workers without proof of vaccination would not be allowed to access government buildings.
Meanwhile, the virus has taken another dangerous form as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, confirmed the entry of Omicron Variant into the country.
