Chiwetalu Agu
Veteran Nigerian actor, Chiwetalu Agu has debunked rumors claiming he is critically sick and needs financial assistance to get treatment. The rumors trended on social media and got some of his followers and fans to pay their condolences until he reacted to the ongoing rumor.
Chiwetalu Agu who is known for his usage of specific language slang, phrases or clichés in each film addressed the issue on his Instagram page saying he is hale and hearty and didn’t ask for any financial assistance on Facebook as it is been said.
The Nollywood actor posted @chiwetaluagu: ‘’Good morning my people. Please disregard any foolish post on Facebook by anybody saying am SICK and SOLICITING for MONEY, I’m in a perfect, good health condition, I will never ask anybody for a DIME neither am I on FACEBOOK.
It has been the norm for some Nollywood actors and other Nigerian celebrities to solicit for assistance when they are having health challenges. The 64-year old Chiwetalu Agu has made it known that he’s not one of them and that he is in perfect condition.
