As Chelsea prepares to welcome Real Madrid to their legendary Stamford Bridge, report reaching us now is that Chelsea major star Mason Mount could be out for the clash which comes up later tonight. Chelsea will be hosting Zinedane Zidane and his troops in the second leg of their semi-final and they will need all their players to be fit ahead of the game.
Real Madrid manager Zinedane Zidane has earlier reveals his big plans on their visit to England, the manager said he is confident his boys will make it to the Champions League final. The two sides settled for a 1-1 draw in the first leg, Chelsea’s captain America Christian Pulisic scored the all important away goal to put them at an advantage.
Mason Mount was very impressive in their weekend game against Fulham which ended in their favour 2-0 but he was hauled off in the closing minutes of the game after picking a back injury. Speaking on the player’s injury, Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel admitted he is sure if the player will be fit to face Real Madrid.
Tuchel said: “I saw him holding his back slightly, so we didn’t want to take any risks but I have no other information on that. He has the full package, mentally, in terms of talent, and physically.” The manager also said Mount is a player who can recover very fast, and that he is physical player.
