Chelsea and Southampton face eachother in EPL matchday 5
Chelsea will be looking to build on a thrilling 4-0 win over Crystal Palace when they take on Southampton in yet another home fixture. The Blues have been having their ups and downs at the start of the season, but nobody doubts in their attacking potential. Seeing that new signing Hakim Ziyech has fully recovered from his injury, the home side stands a better chance of winning the clash.
The Saints, on the other hand, proved their worth in back-to-back wins over Burnley and West Ham, but they will have to do more to Frank Lampard team who are hungry for a title. Since Southampton are not regarded as good travellers, we are tempted to bet on the home team but anything can still happen so we will be saying an interesting game is expected.
Both Salisu and Armstrong should recover in time to face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. It has to be noted that Frank Lampard has a full squad to choose from ahead of Saturday’s clash, but they should be worried for Danny Ings who has been in top former since the 2019/20 English Premier League season.
