Check Out New WhatsApp Security Feature

WhatsApp has announced plans to roll out a new security feature for WhatsApp Web and Desktop.

The new WhatsApp Security Feature is described as a face and fingerprint unlock when linking devices.

According to a tweet by the Management of WhatsApp, the app does not see the user’s face or fingerprint data.

The popular social media app’s management said its privacy policy update does not affect the privacy of the user’s messages, adding that a user’s chats are protected by end-to-end encryption.

Earlier, had reported that neither WhatsApp nor Facebook could read user’s messages or hear their calls on WhatsApp.

Also, WhatsApp doesn’t keep logs of who everyone is messaging or calling; WhatsApp stated that keeping call and message records for two billion users would be both a privacy and security risk.
