One of the most important matches in all of Europe will be taking place on May 29 in a season that has been very unique in its own right. It is the Champions League final, and it is approaching very quickly.
Despite the absence of fans in European stadiums this season, ‘The Times’ on Wednesday highlighted that there are plans and modalities being put in place by UEFA and the local authorities to see that up to 25,000 fans are allowed into the Ataturk Olympic Stadium.
25,000 would be a third of the full capacity of the stadium and it has been reported that the breakdown of the attendance could be 4000 Manchester City fans, and 4000 fans for the other finalist, Chelsea.
As with the Europa League final three days before, all the fans will have to comply with the restrictions in the area, and also have to provide a negative COVID-19 test, in order to be in attendance.
