Scottish Premiership side Celtic has indicated an interest in former England and Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart. According to reports, the club is making every possible attempt to solve their goalkeeping problems, and the goalkeeper is the one they want.
Celtic Makes Joe Hart’s Move
34-year-old Joe Hart has played ten games for Tottenham Hotspur since arriving at the club on a two-year deal last summer, but only in cup games. Vasilis Barkas and Scott Bain both played a leg of Celtic’s Champions League defeat by Midtjylland, but neither seems set to be the first choice.
The major stumbling block will be whether Celtic can offer a package large enough to attract the former Torino keeper. The former Manchester City goalkeeper’s career has stalled since he lost his place at Burnley following a 5-1 hammering by Everton in December 2018, which remains the last league match he played.
His chances of game time at Tottenham have reduced further with the arrival of Pierluigi Gollini from Atalanta. So, the Englishman might be on his way out of the English Premier League.
