Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti has returned to Real Madrid for a second spell as manager of the club. The former Chelsea and Napoli manager returned to the Spanish giants after spending one and half-season with the English outfit Everton.
Carlo Ancelotti Returns to Real Madrid
The Italian, who was previously managing Real Madrid in the 2013 and 2015 season, has agreed to a three-year deal with the club. Carlo Ancelotti is returning to the Bernabeu after to replaces Zinedine Zidane, who left the club some days ago. Real Marid was in the market for a coach after Zidane left the club; rumours had it that the club was going to sign former Inter Milan coach Antonio Conte, but the club went for Carlo Ancelotti.
Real Madrid released a statement saying Carlo Ancelotti will be the new first-team coach for the next three seasons. They made it clear that the manager will sign his contract and be presented to the media on Wednesday. Ancelotti had been in charge at Goodison Park since December 2019, leading Everton to a 10th place finish in the Premier League last season.
He has managed AC Milan, Juventus, Chelsea, Paris St Germain, Chelsea, Napoli and Bayern Munich in his 26-year managerial career.
