Bukayo Saka wins big at the London Football Awards

Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka pipped Chelsea’s Mason Mount to the Young Player of the Year award at LFA. It is Saka, however, who has become almost un-droppable for the Gunners this term.

Saka has scored five and assisted three in the league for the north Londoners and bagged two goals and four assists in seven Europa League outings, with the 19-year-old’s second-leg display vs Slavia Prague a particular highlight.

Saka’s superb form has also earned him his England debut, which he made in October of 2020, and has since seen him handed a further three outings for the Three Lions.

Now, the youngster’s impressive form has, on Tuesday, been recognised in the form of an award.

The 2021 London Football Awards took place on Tuesday, with Saka nominated for the Young Player of the Year alongside some top talents such as Chelsea’s Mason Mount, West Ham’s Declan Rice and teammate Smith Rowe.
