President Muhammadu Buhari On Coronavirus
President Muhammadu Buhari has extended the lockdown and restriction of movement order in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT,Abuja, Lagos and Ogun States , by another two weeks in order to stop community spreading of Coronavirus in the country.
The president made this know in a nationwide broadcast he gave on the current attacks of Coronavirus across the world with Nigeria having its own share.
The President also announced that isolation centres at the international airports and borders across the country to avoid further importation of Coronavirus cases into the Nigeria.
While stressing the importance of Nigerians taking responsibility and working hand-in-hand with the government and other related agencies waging war against Coronavirus, President Buahri advised on social distancing, personal hygiene and staying at home.
He also regretted the inconvineices the lockdown extension would have on poor Nigerians especially those whose lin sources of income have been totally paralysed.
Buhari also expressed worry about the continuous increase in the number of Coronavirus cases in Nigeria.
