President Buhari Asked to Step Down After Kaduna Train Attack

President Muhammadu Buhari has been asked to resign following the unfortunate Kaduna train attack that have claimed the lives of scores in the state.

According to Prince Kassim Afegbua, Spokesperson to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who issued a statement regarding the recent double attacks in Kaduna State, the President should honourably resign.

He stressed that the Kaduna bound train attack is one bare-faced example of a presidency that has lost its compass and leadership roadmap.

Continuing, Afegbua stated that the act is inhuman, agonisingly pulsating, and markedly wicked, as the only action Buhari deems fit to take is to continue to render condolence messages.

Afegbua hinted that there are numerous opportunities for the President to bring these unwarranted killings to an end and seize the chance to arrest the situation knowing it’s right within the purview of Government.

“The trainattack is the height of crass incompetence and failure of government to pursue its statutory responsibilities as encapsulated in the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Once a government is unable to execute and fulfil its responsibility of ensuring welfare and security to lives and property, such a government has no business being in contention.” He said.
