President Muhammadu Buhari has landed in Bamako, Republic of Mali, today, on a one-day visit.
According to a tweet by the Presidency, Buhari is meeting with fellow ECOWAS leaders led by President Mahamadou Issoufou of Niger Republic.
The meeting is aimed at putting up consultations towards finding a lasting solution to the political crisis in Mali.
Earlier, the Presidency has announced that President Buhari will on Thursday depart for Bamako, the Republic of Mali on a one-day visit, following the briefing by the ECOWAS Special Envoy to the country, former President, Goodluck Jonathan.
It was gathered that the visit of ECOWAS leaders is about consolidating on the agreements reached by various parties.
