The Ondo State Information Commissioner, Donald Ojogo has revealed the issues discussed during the meeting between Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and President Muhammadu Buhari.
According to the Commissioner, President Buhari asked Akeredolu to flush out all criminals in the state, especially those in the forest reserves.
Ojogo noted that the meeting held on Wednesday at the Presidental Villa allowed Akeredolu to clear the air over the alleged quit notice issued to Fulani herders in Ondo state.
The Commissioner said Governor Akeredolu obtained President Buhari’s support to flush out criminals in Ondo State’s forests.
Buhari Advises Akeredolu
You will recall that Governor Akeredolu failed to speak to State House correspondents at the end of his close doors meeting with President Buhari.
However, Everyevery.ng gathered that the meeting was centred on security in the Southwest and Ondo State in particular.
Buhari separately, met with Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State and Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State over the recent happenings in their states.
