Bugatti La Voiture
French luxury car maker, Bugatti, have unveiled a car that sold for €14 million (₦ 6.6 billion) at the Geneva Motor Show on Tuesday. The amount makes the car the most expensive new car ever.
The new beauty has been nicknamed the Batmobile by motor press. The arrival of the “La Voiture” was teased on on social media for weeks by Bugatti.
The La Voiture takes its design cues from a Bugatti classic, the Type 57SC Atlantic. The new car boasts of an 8-liter W16 engine, a top speed of 261mph and six exhaust pipes.
Already, one of the models has been purchased. There are speculations that the new owner could be Ferdinand Piëch, a motor industry tycoon. However, the identity of the owner has not been disclosed.
