The Nigerian Musician Olawale Ibrahim Ashimi, known as Brymo, has parted ways with his long-time manager Lanre Lawal.
Lawal, who has managed the singer for over eight years, wrote in a statement posted on Instagram that he has parted ways with the Afropop and soul singer.
He took to his page to appreciate the long time relationship with the artiste and for being a good friend. He also disclosed that the decision was mutual between the two to move on to the next stage of their career individually.
In the post he titled “Notice of disengagement between Bail Music Company and Brymo,” he wrote to inform the general public that ‘The Bail Music Company’, under his leadership, is no longer responsible for the management of Olawale Ashimi Oloforo.
Manager Part Ways With Brymo
Lawal disclosed that as Brymo’s manager, they had built formidable relationships and partnerships with top music stakeholders in and outside Nigeria over the last eight years.
He said together, they have assisted in amplifying the strength and talents of the ‘Rara Rira’ crooner through the smooth development and execution of projects that have grown the brand internationally.
However, like every healthy relationship, he has a mutual decision to move on to the next stage of their professional journeys individually.
He is proud of the years they have worked together and have found nothing more satisfying than to see the singer reach the heights of his success.
This change is coming after Brymo’s feud with musician Innocent Idibia popularly called ‘2baba‘, where he claimed 2baba accused him of having an affair with his wife and then attacked him with his thugs.
