Newly promoted English Premier League side Brentford came from behind to shock Liverpool to a 3-3 draw. Yoann Wissa came from the bench to score a late equalizer as his side held Liverpool to a draw in a thrilling encounter at the Brentford Community Stadium.

Wissa’s dinked finish over Alisson rescued a point for the hosts, who matched Jurgen Klopp’s team for long spells and created enough opportunities to claim all three points.

Ethan Pinnock had given Brentford an early led by poking home from close range after Ivan Toney flicked Sergi Canos’ low cross into the defender’s path. But it was not long before Liverpool replied the message the home team sent. Just when it looked like the reds had won the day, Brentford introduced Wissa into the game who came and turned things around for the home side. The player scored a late-minute equalizer to help his team share points with Liverpool.
