BOEING 737 MAX GROUNDING WILL COST $225 MILLION

Boeing 737 Max is in the media again as the airline suffers a major business loss of $225,000 million.

The European company largest company said that the largest company said that its 2019 earnings will be will be reduced by $225 million assuming flights by the aircrafts resume by mid July.

The grounding of the 737 Max has forced it to lease aircraft and extended leases on others.

The southwest airline warned earlier this week that the 737 groundings are hurting its ticket sales.

The carrier said the number of seats it can sell this quater will be much lower than previously expected because it’s not flying as many planes.

It said its cancelled 2,800 flights because of the 737 issue.
