Bandits suspected to be Fulani Herdsmen. have reportedly created a messy situation in Abia State, leaving a woman sexually molested, killed and several others kidnapped.
It was also confirmed that the herdsmen whisked off with ten other individuals deep into the forest after breaking all the rules and committing their atrocities.
The incident happened precisely at Isuikwuato Local Government Area, LGA of Abia State, where hoodlums armed with dangerous weapons raided the area and wreaked havoc without remorse for life or property.
According to reports, the abducted travellers were situated at the motor park opposite the Abia State University Uturu were going to Akara in Isuikwuato before the unfortunate incident happened.
However, the kidnappers reportedly encountered some military personnel at a close-by checkpoint where gunshots were exchanged between the two parties.
Unfortunately, the criminals escaped the grip of the soldiers, who were mindful of how they fired shots to avoid mistakenly killing any hostages.
There is no information yet about the victims as their abductors are yet to make any contacts.
Meanwhile, the incident involving the woman that was stabbed and died in the process hails from Amagu, Mbaugwu, Uturu in Isuikwuato LGA.
