Chelsea and Scotland star player Billy Gilmour has tested positive for coronavirus, and he will miss Scotland’s last Euro 2020 match, which will be against Croatia on Tuesday. The Chelsea player was the Uefa star of the game when they played against England.

The game against England ended in a goalless draw, which means they have one point from two games played. The organisers of the Euro 2020 has asked if Billy Gilmour made any contact with any of the Scotland players or coaching crew so as to isolate the person or persons with the 20-year-old.
Gilmour will miss their last group stage game, which is a decider game. Croatia and Scotland both have one point each. Any winner from the group will emerge as the second team to move to the next stage of the competition. For Scotland to qualify, they must win the game which will be played at Hampden.
A statement was released by the team, saying: “The Scottish FA can confirm that a member of the Scotland national team playing squad, Billy Gilmour, has tested positive for Covid-19.” Billy is expected to self-isolate for at least ten days which means he will feature in tomorrow’s Uefa Euro 2020 Group D match against Croatia at Hampden.
