Betty Irabor is the founder of Genevieve Magazine. She has now written a book on what she went through during the 8 years of being depressed.
The 63-year-old publisher who owns a foundation that promotes breast cancer awareness, early detection and treatment disclosed that she has won the battle over depression 5 years ago.
She has now used the book as a medium to appreciate everyone who stood by her during her trying times. She wrote, ”My battle with depression lasted 8 years. I have been out of that dark for some 5 years now & I wrote a book on my experience”

Betty Irabor has earlier revealed that she nearly committed suicide if not for the timely intervention of her husband who then took her to the hospital where she was placed on suicide watch.
