Ebubu is not the only housemate that has been accused of poor hygiene in the BBTitans’ house. Another Nigerian lady has been accused of sharing the title of the dirtiest housemate with him.
While in the BBTitans’ house, Lukay accused Olivia of being unclean. He discussed this with his romantic partner, Ipeleng, about Olivia’s odour. The story, which many felt was long buried, breathed new life when a fan brought up the incident during Olivia’s live.
She decided to address Lukay’s allegations and put an end to trolls. “Maybe he was smelling himself”, she commented dismissively. She explained that she never believed that he was referring to her. She assumed he had probably smelt the stink on himself and was discussing that with Ipeleng. She threw the allegations back at him, accusing him of the one with body odour.
Olivia also claimed that she had excellent hygiene, citing examples where she had stayed in bed with others and received no complaints. She cited instances like the night of Nana’sillness and her proximity to others such as Thabang and Yvonne. If I were smelling, they would have complained”, the Nigerian star explained.
She also attacked Lukay, calling him old. “Old age was playing a tricky game on him”, Olivia reiterated.
Body odour is always a sensitive allegation that causes undue mocking. As much as we promote good hygiene, we would not want to send someone into the despair of public embarrassment. We can only hope that Olivia and Lukay will not face undue scrutiny from the public.
