Venita and Ella clash on Instagram over clout-chasing
BBNaija season 4 housemates, Venita and Ella lock horns on Instagram. What started as a call for support ended up a heated argument between them over clout chasing move. The clash started when an unidentified Instagram user accused Venita of not showing full support for her colleague, Ella and Venita clapped back in a subtle shade implying that Ella was the one behind the faceless account and asked her to come off the charade.
Responding to this, Ella blew hot and hit Venita in a really sensitive spot with her comment. She said,
“Why u clout chasing? Why mentioning my name in this? Use this time to think of ur kids. .. this is dumb.”
As expected, this statement drew the battle line for them because from previous experiences it is obvious that Venita holds her kids dear to her heart and will not tolerate any form of perceived disrespect slung their way. Firing back at Ella, Venita said,
“my kids? Really?… stay ready!”
Venita and Ella have never really identified as friends but they tried to remain cordial or at least that was the impression they gave after their internet breaking fight during the BBNaija season 4 reunion. It seems that the cordial agreement has gone down the drain with this recent social media clash that ensued between the two.
