Our star girl Erica did not last long before she fell for the charms of our favourite bad boy Londoner Kiddwaya. This relationship was very chaotic but could also be cute at times.
Kidd was very smitten by her and claimed her publicly to the housemates. Kidd being a playboy, did not necessarily deter the affections of other ladies. Ladies like Wathoni and Nengi also wanted a piece of the arm candy but when Erica cried, he came running. The two gave us Bonnie and Clyde vibes. Erica was the good girl gone bad and there was no holding our star girl back.
Many still speculate that Kidd was the real cause of Erica’s disqualification. There are many things wrong with this couple but we cannot help but swoon at the cute stolen kisses and glances they had.
Although the couple is no longer together, they made us swoon when they were on our screens.
Fan favourite pepper dem ship had our hearts fluttering when they were in Biggie’s house. They gave us sweet and juicy entertainment. The night always starts with Liquorose dancing energetically while Emmanuel stands in the corner. As the night winds down, Emmanuel would walk up to his babe, grab her and even carry her, as they grind to the music playing. Emmarose knows how to leave us hot and heavy. They put the 18 in rated 18.
The couple was also not without its faults. Emmanuel was revealed to be a player during the reunion. Allegedly, he had been with another woman in Dubai as revealed during the reunion. Angel also alleged that he had flirted with her as well.
In summary, Emmarose put shippers to shame and many have been hesitant to ship again.
This married couple is blessed with two adorable boys. The pair met in Bbnaija pepper dem and have been together ever since. Since the closing of the show, they have relocated to the UK.
While in the house, Khafi was the first to fall victim to the love bug. She wanted a taste of whatever Gedoni was serving. The two were not a fan favourite, as Mercy and Ike hugged the spotlight.
The pair also fell victim to online trolls. Khafi was trolled because many claimed she was throwing herself at an uninterested Gedoni. Even when Gedoni seemed to return Khafi’s interest, it was labelled as insincere. He was trolled for using Khafi as a means to actualize his japa dreams because she is a British citizen
Despite the many trolls, this ship persevered and haters have turned lovers.
Before there was a thing called ships and shippers, we had Ify and Kaltung. Many may have forgotten this IT couple that graced our screens back in 2006. Back then, Big Brother Naija was formerly known as Big Brother Nigeria and Ebuka was a contestant and not a host.
Ify and Kaltung had a hold on fans. Their love story although controversial was the quintessential millennial love story. Kaltung hails from Northern Nigeria and Ify from Eastern Nigeria, it was our intercultural love story. Two people from different cultural backgrounds defied the odds and chose each other. Their story although loved was laced with criticism. Beyond the intercultural romance, fans of this couple had to deal with a moral issue because Ify was in a relationship.
Ify had a partner outside the house, who she frequently spoke about to all housemates including Kaltung. However, Kaltung did not let her relationship status deter him and, continued to pursue his love interest. Although the pair did not make it outside the house, they gave us a slow-burn forbidden love story.
Kaltung is currently married and little is known about Ify, today. She seems to have chosen the pearls of private life.
Before we had Nengi and Nina telling us about their boyfriend outside the house, we had Nina. Nina claimed she was in a relationship outside the house. However, she did not let her relationship status stop her from warming Miracle’s bed.
Nina was bullied a lot in the house. She was the youngest and many dismissed her due to her Igbo accent. Many times, houses mates would belittle her suggestions or try to dominate her. However, in all this, she had Miracle by her side. Miracle continually defended Nina and was not shy about expressing his love for her.
The pair were inseparable from the very first day. The double wahala team of paring housemates did not put a dent in this love story. It was a love built on friendship, genuine care and chemistry. When Miracle emerged as the winner of BBNaija Double Wahala, no one was happier about his win than Nina.
The couple did not continue their relationship outside the house.
Nina is happily married with kids while Miracle is facing backlash from his alleged American partner.
I can assure you, no other couple had fans in a frenzy as much as this ship. Fans were upset, angry and happy. This ship is not for the faint at heart.
Ozo was like potty in the hands of Nengi. She says, “jump”, and Ozo says “how high?”.
Ozo and Nengi were the pioneers of hand-holding from different bed things. This ship had fans in a chokehold with their will they or won’t they thing.
They were everywhere together. They talked about everything with Ozo always encouraging Nengi. The little jealousy they had would spice up their relationship. Ozo is jealous of Nengi flirting with other guys and Nengi is jealous of Ozo not paying her attention. Nengi even cried when Ozo was evicted. Although the couple never kissed, it was obvious that they genuinely cared about each other.
This couple never became an official item but after the house, Nengi tendered a sincere apology to Ozo. She apologised for making his feelings seem unrequited which led to endless online trolling. The pair is still friendly, teaching us that some ships are just great as friendships.

Although this ship was loved, it was not without its many critics. Fans still nursing their heartbreak from Emmarose were not eager to resume their shipping work. They criticized the relationship for being insincere and too fast-paced. Sheggz being a Yoruba demon was also perceived as arrogant. He did not help his case with his many talks about London. These talks left a bad taste in the mouth of both housemates and fans. The other half of this ship, Bella was not exempt from criticism. She was perceived by fans to be rude, entitled, and difficult. The Igbo last born must be used to princess treatment at home but, she soon found that biggie’s house wasn’t her father’s house.
However, whether you hate or love this ship, this ship seems here to stay. They are still growing strong. Outside the house, we’ve seen them attend events and support each other.

Bambam was unfortunately evicted on Saturday after the Saturday night party. However, it was not the eviction that had much talking. It was a tearful Teddy A that grasped the attention of fans. He broke down at the sight of his lover leaving Big Brother’s house. Fans were in shock because they could not believe that our favourite Alpha Male could be so soft.
The couple had so many cute moments in the house. Their infamous alleged tape in the bathroom was the talk of the town.
Teddy A and Bambam were always encouraging one another. This pair is the most mature on the list because even though they spent time together, they also allowed each other to engage with others.
At their reunion, they were still together with Ahneeka applauding Bamabam for taming our favourite Bbnaija bad boy. Teddy A responded by assuring the housemates that their relationship was heading for the altar. He fell through on his promise and the couple was wedded a few months after in Dubai.
They married in November 2019 and have been together ever since. The couple is blessed with two kids, one of whom is a child model (Zendaya Folakemi Adenibuyan)
