Tv star, Tolanibaj exposes ex-boss in new posts after seeing a triggering message from a mutual contact.
The melanin beauty spoke up about how she was maltreated by her former boss -a record label- before she got into the BBNaija house. Airing her grievances, Tolanibaj spoke about how the music industry tried to bully her with false allegation just because she spoke up for her rights.
The music executive tweeted that her former employers owed her salary for months leading her to beg via email for the remuneration. According to her, she was fired from the job for speaking up against the abuse of Labour rights within the organization.
This is not the first-time Tolanibaj is speaking up against the injustice in the entertainment industry. Before getting into the BBNaija lockdown house, she was interviewed by a famous magazine where she said,
“Record labels in Nigeria have a lot to learn. We have so many inexperienced music execs in Nigeria who are running labels with no direction. Artistes are silently depressed because of their labels. Some labels are hindering the success of their artists due to negligence. Companies will owe salaries and will terminate your contract as an employee if you voice out”
Fans are not sure which of the record labels Tolanibaj is referring to as she has worked with a number of bigwigs in the entertainment industry including Aristokrat Records and Universal Music Worldwide.
