BBNaija level 2 housemate, Amaka, took to addressing Phyna about the cold war that has been happening between them, in an attempt to resolve it. It is no secret that unrequited love feels like a stab to the heart, but nothing beats the pain of a crumbling sisterhood.
Amaka has felt both pains these past few days, leading to a visible decline in her energy and mood. The unusual triangle between Amaka, Groovy and Phyna has been the cause of tension between the friends.
Amaka in hopes of restoring the good blood spoke detailedly about her feelings and even opted out of the triangle by wishing Phyna good luck. Phyna on the other hand listened to Amaka with an expression of disinterest and indifference. She opined that she did not have any particular issue with Amaka that needed resolving.
Phyna ended the conversation with the saying, “I nor come BBN to come argue man matter”. With their close friendship prior, one would expect that Phyna would pay more attention to Amaka’s sensitivity to a perceived betrayal. Instead of this, Phyna runs to Groovy and discloses Amaka’s conversation with her.
Despite the needlessness for discretion, a similar situation sparked off the whole triangular issue. Phyna repeating the same act of giving “girl gist” to Groovy seems to be breaking an unwritten girl code.
Phyna’s attitude speaks volumes about her prioritising her ‘situationship’ with Groovy over her friendship with Amaka. Groovy seems to be the price for a lot of female housemates this season and hopefully, Phyna hasn’t lost focus on the grand prize of 100M, while Groovy catches cruise.
