Hostility towards Doyin has led to the spread of rumours. The formation of cliques and ships in Biggie’s house has resulted in explicit and implicit resentment over different issues. It would be strange for different versions of gossip not to spread where there are at least 10 people in confinement.
Amaka is one person that has fallen victim to trolling both within and outside the house due to the gospels of gossip she has been preaching. It is one thing to have side talks, it is another to have side talks about your friends within the house.
Blames have been imputed on Doyin over different unpleasant baseless rumours. She might have remained apathetic to the hearsay if it wasn’t brought directly to her by Allyson.
Allyson and Doyin have been two peas in a pod within the house. The gossip threatened their close-knit friendship. To clarify what exactly was said, Allyson decided to have a conversation with Doyin that made her extremely emotional.
Doyin expressed herself saying, “though it might seem she’s in everyone’s business, she’s not walking about and doing so, housemates bring their business to her”
She has been accused of being in everyone’s ship and bringing negativity along but she has done nothing but serve as a neutral mediator in the issues housemates bring to her because of her therapeutical abilities.
Eloswag in a separate conversation with Chomzy even clarified this, saying, “Doyin is a good person and it is someone that’s trying to spoil her name in the house”.
Through her conversation with Allyson, Doyin has figured out that it is Adenkule being petty and spreading rumours about her trying to infiltrate and sink the sailing ships in the house. She is yet to confront him because she promised Allyson not to.
Adenkule intentionally or unintentionally badmouthing Doyin, might be his strategy to get housemates to nominate her up for eviction and ruin her chance of being in the house next week.
