BBNaija Season 10: Danboskid, Ibifubara Exit as New Twists Shake the Game

The Big Brother Naija Season 10 house witnessed its first eviction drama over the weekend, and the stakes have never been higher. Danboskid became the first housemate to leave the show, walking out to a warm hug from his close ally Zita before the rest of the house sent him off with a spirited “three gbosa for Danboskid.” Speaking on stage with host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the 25-year-old model and actor admitted he was shocked but accepted the reality of eviction.

He used the moment to clarify an earlier comment about women, saying he rarely approaches them unless there’s something exceptional, while also praising Zita’s beauty. Danboskid expressed hopes to pursue a Nollywood career and continue his relationship with Zita outside the house. The second eviction saw 28-year-old Ibifubara make her exit after falling short in the viewers’ vote. The therapist admitted she had felt lonely during the week due to shifting friendship dynamics and revealed she was attracted to fellow housemates Otega and Bright Morgan but chose not to act on it. She also shared her plans to launch a podcast and expand her role in the creative direction of a hair brand. Denari narrowly escaped eviction, landing in the bottom three but surviving after the vote count was revealed.

A new twist also added spice to the evening, with all housemates up for eviction except Head of House Victory and Kayinkumi, who was saved by Victory through the newly introduced ‘tree of trinkets’ game. In a sombre moment, Ebuka announced the death of Ayotunde Elegbede, a valued member of the Big Brother production crew, with the show confirming the news came directly from his family. With 27 housemates still in the game, the atmosphere is bound to intensify. The “tree of trinkets” could return as a game-changer, the Head of House title remains a critical shield, and the voting pattern will continue to test friendships and strategies.

As the game unfolds, all eyes will be on how housemates who narrowly escaped eviction adjust their gameplay and how the alliances shift in the race for the N150 million grand prize.
