The fourth episode of the BBNaija Level Up Reunion Show came with a banger. The episode opened up old wounds between Chichi and Phyna. They attacked each other uncovering secrets that were deeply buried.
If you recall, these women knew each other before the show commenced. They were friends connected through their job. They met at a club in Abuja, where Chichi worked as a stripper and Phyna worked as a high priestess.
Their friendship solidified as they were made roommates during the Lockdown prequel to the show. The friendship seemed at a standstill as they were separated into different levels on the show.
Chichi made new friends and maintained a distance from Phyna. However, when the houses were merged and they were forced into the same space, they rekindled their friendship They formed what Ebuka dubbed Edo Queens but Twitter dubbed Edo Witches. They seemed to plot against Bella after she fell out with Rachel over food.
Their relationship met a terrible demise. Phyna reveals she was heartbroken as she saw clips of Chichi consistently nominating her. She claimed it was Bella who unveiled all the secrets. She also claimed their friendship ended on account of Chichi.
She claimed Chichi just stopped talking to her after the show. She narrated to Ebuka how she, Bella, Chichi and others were depressed after the show and used to console themselves. However, everything ended and Chichi gave her cold reception. She confessed that it came from nowhere as they did not quarrel. She speculated that since many people had dissociated from her on account of being uncouth or razz, she just concluded that it was perhaps for a similar reason.
When asked if she ever confronted Chichi, she confessed that she did not. There seems to be more to the story as the conversation soon turned violent. She insulted her achievement, claiming she was only a finalist by two per cent. She also accused her of exploiting the death of her parents in vain.
It was not the first time she was accused of exploiting the death of her parents, Chomzy accused her of the same thing. However, Phyna exposed Chichi, who claimed to be age 23, to be 33 years of age.
If we recall, Chichi has been under fire for her age, eliciting cryptic tweets from housemates during her birthday.
Are Phyna’s claims just the ramblings of a vindictive woman or are there truth to these claims?
