Nengi replaced as face of Bayelsa girl child
Big Brother Naija star, Rebecca ‘Nengi’ Hampson has been relieved of one of her recently bagged appointments.
Recall that the BBNaija Lockdown finalist was named the face of Bayelsa Girl Child as well as being named a special assistant to the Bayelsa state governor.
The reality star has been replaced as the face of Bayelsa Girl Child by the governor of Bayelsa state, Diri Duoye.
The queen of the Ninjas has been replaced by Ebizi Blessing Eradiri.
Eradiri was appointed face of the Bayelsa Girl Child after she graduated with a first-class from the Niger Delta University and Nigeria Law School.
The governor announced the appointment of Eradiri as the New Face of Bayelsa on Monday, January 11, 2021.
The appointment of Nengi had drawn criticism from Nigerians including controversial artiste, Charly Boy.
However, no reason was given by the governor for the new change but it may not be unconnected to the criticism drawn by the appointment of the former Bayelsa beauty queen.
