Ebuka SARS
Popular Nigerian TV host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu has joined several Nigerians to share their brutal experiences in the hands of SARS which have made Nigerians to call for its scrap.
Ebuka made shared his experience on Sunday 18th of October 2020 during his popular youth program “Rubbin Minds” on Channels TV while speaking about the recent #ENDSARS protest.
The Big Brother Naija reality TV show host said 14th of November, 2005, the date when the incident occurred remained his most scary moment till date.
He mentioned how he was driving in the streets of Abuja with his two friends, just few days after been called into the Nigerian Bar and just two days after his elder brother’s wedding.
Ebuka narrated how he was blocked by an unknown man with gun and had to follow his instinct to speed off while the man chased them into an ambush led by a Policeman which had 6-10 men holding guns & blocking the road.
In his word, “…the chilly moment of my entire life was when we watched the men raised their guns at us and opened fire. We found out later that there are have been several reported robbery cases in the area.
“And at that time, our dead bodies would’ve been paraded as the armed robbers“
Although they were lucky to be alive, one of his friends was hit by a bullet in his shoulder and carry the scars till today.
