Days ago, Doyin unveiled her unwillingness to move to the mainland. She was invited to Channels TV, where she was interviewed. She was asked about her plans if her partner was staying on the mainland.
She claimed she wanted to give her kids a good life. She also explained that she was accustomed to a certain luxury, as a result of her parents’ endeavours, and wanted the same for her kids.
She explained that due to her work being primarily on the Island, she would not be willing to relocate for love. Nevertheless, when she explained that this was not to diss anyone but that this was simply her stance.
It was either the lover relocated to the Island or a mutual crossroad location was found for them.
After the interview aired, many felt Doyin was broke shamming or parading herself as a gold digger. She faced heavy backlash from fans and popular influencer, Very Dark Man.
