Tonight was the BBNaija 2021 Reunion finale, and it was filled with heartwarming moments as the housemates talked about their journey before and after the show. Some even took time to apologise to their fellow housemates for any past wrongs.
First, all the guys were gathered together and asked who they thought would emerge as the winner at first instance. Brighto thought apart from himself; Prince would win because of how he carried himself throughout his stay at the BBNaija house.
Trikytee thought either Prince, Ozo or Eric would win, although he later removed Eric from the winning list because he was more absent than present.
The BBNaija Lockdown Season 5 winner, Laycon, said that he had no idea he’d win until Ebuka, the host, mentioned his name on the stage. He thought that he’d only be in the house for only two weeks.
On the other hand, the ladies, Nengi and Vee, said they were closer to the guys because they were cool and didn’t judge. On that, Dora noted that the guys were okay but “only with the HOH position”; they didn’t cook.
When asked if the ladies had each other’s back in the house, Dorathy said that each person had someone they were close to, and they had that person’s back.
Nengi felt judged so much in the house. From people saying she followed the guys around to implying that she threw herself at them. Coming out of the house to watch the videos, she was confused as she didn’t know where such an impression came from.
Ka3na had something to say, and it was to Nengi: “I don’t hate you.” She added that her saying some things to/about Nengi was because she wanted her to do the right thing or at least what she thought was right.
Nengi says she was surprised because she and Ka3na didn’t get a chance to know each other and didn’t understand why she was getting that behaviour from her.
They’re good, though, Nengi declared.
Dora advised the housemates not to let fans get to them. “I love everyone… I’m sorry if I’ve made snide remarks… I’m open to friendships. Please invite me to your house.”
To round up, the housemates discussed their different ways of handling pressure after the show.
They all agreed that the pressure was different for them. Lucy, Praise, Wathoni and Brighto admitted to having a tough time adjusting to their new life at first but could strike a balance with time.
