Entrepreneur and BBNaija 2020 housemate, Dorathy Bachor is always full of smiles and good energy, looking nothing like the pain she has been through in her 24 years on earth.

Dorathy told a very touching story of how she lost her dad at a tender age. The week six wager presentation brought up this untold story from Dorathy. She put a pin on the date, October 31 2007, because that was the day her biological father died.

Dorathy paid tribute to her uncle who she said has been there for her for most of her life since the death of her father. The most amazing part of this was that this man is in now way related to her family by blood.

The 24-year-old housemate said she remembers the exact scenario of the day she found out that her day was dead, it will forever be etched in her heart.

She had just come back from boarding school with her sister only to see people gathered in her house with a condolence register by the door. She recalled asking for her mother and that was when her mum broke the news that her dad had died of a heart attack. When narrating how her dad died, her mom said that she didn’t expect her husband to die the day after they cooked dinner together. Dorathy remembers one of the most painful days in her life, October 31, 2007.

On how amazing her uncle is, Dorathy shared that when her mom was being forced to perform widowhood traditional rites of shaving her head and drinking the bathing water of the corpse, her uncle was the one that fought for them and stopped her mom from going through all those terrible things.

This same uncle took the family under his wing and put Dorathy and her siblings through school. He sent Dorathy to Joseph Ayo Babalola University irrespective of the fact that the school was relatively expensive. She said he was the one that suggested the school since she had been denied admission to a federal university twice.

Dorathy added that she owes her uncle everything for all that he has done for her family.
