The Lockdown housemates were given a task to extend an offering of Peace to old friends and acquaintances that she had lost connection with to commemorate the World Peace Day. All five housemates had to go into the garden one after the other and give their peace speech. Nengi was the last housemate to go in giving a precise speech.
Nengi extended an olive branch to an uncle that pierced her in the most delicate of places. She said that this incident occurred when she was still a young teenager and she had not forgotten about it since then. According to Nengi, while there were deliberations on her mother’s burial rites after her passing, this particular uncle said,
“Who was Flora to bury her in the family house?”
This hurt Nengi’s feelings deeply but she said she could not confront him because she was a child then but now, she is ready to move past it and hopes that they can talk about that episode when she leaves the house.
