Laycon, winner of the BBNaija 2020 reality TV show has taken to Twitter speaking in parables minutes after the Lagos State government placed a 24hour curfew on the state.
He made a tweet indirectly talking to government and sounding more like a parable. However, a close look at his tweet shows he might be talking about the recent outcries against governments attitude towards the plight of the citizens.
“There are no loses, only lessons learnt. When we fall, we fall forward, so when we rise, we rise with growth. There are no loses, only opportunities to correct mistakes made, only opportunities to grow and evolve to a higher level. There are no loses, only Love and Light.”
While many were retweeting, liking and commenting on the tweet, he dropped another one that looks clearer that the previous one.
“If you deliberately stunt the growth of millions of youths so you could have a ready army of easily misdirected youths, you kill this country. We won’t allow that, our voices must be heard, the state exists for us, not for anybody else.”
Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu recently placed a 24hour curfew on the state thereby cutting short the resolve of the #EndSARS protest, placing a demand on end to police brutality and by extension, bad governance, extortion, among many others.
