Laycon, Ozo Win Another N5 million
Today was set aside for the presentation of gifts for the BBnaija season 5 winner, Laycon. Before the gifts were announced, the headline sponsor Betway made a presentation and announced that Laycon and Ozo would be awarded the sum of N5 million naira for winning the Make A Difference(M.A.D) Task given to the housemates in the ninth week of the show.
Laycon, Ozo, Trikytee, Neo, Vee, Dorathy and Nengi were the last seven housemates in the penultimate week and they were tasked to pick an initiative close to their hearts, something to present as a grassroots Non-Governmental Organization. This task aimed to present their chosen initiative and convince possible sponsors to fund the initiative.
Laycon and Ozo chose Sports development, Nengi and Vee were with Gender-based violence while Neo, Trikytee and Dorathy went for Food security (access to food). After their presentation that evening, Laycon and Ozo emerged winners but no gift was announced just yet.
Some thought there would be nothing attached to the challenge seeing that the housemates had won huge amounts already but today, the sponsor announced that Ozo and Laycon won themselves N5 million naira for an amazing pitch
