BBNaija 2020 Disqualified Housemate Erica
Erica the disqualified BBNaija lockdown housemate has been in the news for a while since she got on the show. Her affair with Kiddwaya, another male housemate who is son and heir to a Nigerian billionaire was another twist that to her stay in the house.
She also had a tea with Laycon the young rapper who was at a point her best friend and when they became foes, the narrative also changed and she got more attractions both in and outside the house.
Her disqualification was speculated even before it came, however, most viewers did not get to know all the offenses that could nail it for her in Biggie’s record book.
Biggie while announcing her disqualification, explained what she did, and justifying why she would be disqualified from the show. Here are the things she did to get all the three strikes that earned her a disqualification.
Erica started her road to disqualification on August 22, when she slept over at the Head of House lounge which was against the house rules.
Kiddwaya won the Head of House seat on August 17, but he met a hug hurdle at the point of chasing a Deputy who must be a person of the opposite sex. According to the rule, he could not pick Erica for the post because she was the immediate past HoH, he was mandated to pick another lady.
Tolanibaj ended up being Kiddwaya’s Deputy for the week, and after the Saturday night party on August 23 Erica took the very major wrong step in the BBNaija lockdown house.
She was with Kiddwaya in the Head of House lounge as a guest, but slept over by his side only to wake up early around 3am the next morning and return to the main building where she was supposed to be.
She was not the only person who got a strike for that same office, because Tolanibaj also slept in the main house with Prince her man the same night.
Remember that Biggie went on vacation on Monday, August 17, after kiddwaya became the Head of House and he returned on Sunday, August 23 the day he started issuing strikes on the show.
Biggie’s return was not in anyway in Erica’s favour because while every other housemate who went against the house rules got a strike, warning, and withdrawal of hot water in the bathroom, Erica got two strikes.
Erica got the second strike that same day for whispering to Kiddwaya during Biggie’s absence. Whispering is a huge offense in Biggie’s house. He has warned the housemates at several locations against it, and reminded them that they shock go through the rule book again and again.
While Biggie was on vacation he caught Ozo and Erica in the same web of whispering which he has tried to rescue them from over and again.
Erica’s strike for the day became two while Ozo got one for whispering to Neo. At this point, she was holding on to the show with a thin and fragile thread. Just one more strike and she would be evicted.
Erica would have gotten her last and third strike a week ago when Biggie played a clip of how she and Kiddwaya flipped their fingers at the camera, which he described as total disregard to the views and himself.
She was forgiven because Biggie said he decided to let it go because that was the same day she got two strikes. However, her partner Kiddwaya got his second strike for flipping his finger to the camera a second time. Her
The journey to her eviction ended on Saturday, September 5, when she was engaged is an intense show of anger accompanied by words and actions unforgivable by Biggie.
Biggie told her that she committed offenses such as bullying, provocation, and golden, for breaking the house rules of not interacting or engaging with the production process.
After the Saturday night party, she used some words like idiot, foolish, and even body-shamed a fellow housemate for saying she tried to kiss him. She also threatened his life and refused to yield to all calming advice from some other housemates.
Part of the things counted against her was defacing Big Brother’s property and denying a fellow housemate access to use common property. A clip of her during water on Prince’s side of the bed in the HoH lounge proved this. point.
This was how she ended her journey to winning the N85 million grand prize for the BBNaija lockdown season 5 edition. Also as a disqualified housemate, all the prizes she has won during the sponsored tasks on the show would be canceled, and would go without winning anything from the show.
As it stands, Erica is the only disqualified housemate for the season 5 of the BBNaija lockdown house, with over twenty days left it is hoped the remaining housemates would ensure they are not caught in the disqualification web.
