Chidi Mike fires back at Erica
The internet has been shaken with news of audio money promised to Erica from Chidi Mike, CEO of Chidi Mike Motors(CMC). Shortly after Erica’s disqualification from the BBNaija 2020 house, news of Chidi promising her N2million naira alongside a Mercedes car surfaced the internet and Chidi confirmed this in an Instagram post. Three weeks down the line and it looks like we have a repeat of the audio promises we saw in the last season.
Someone in Erica’s team came up making a video and accusing Chidi of broken promises. He said that the entrepreneur had changed his mind about giving Erica N2 million naira now saying that he was going to give her just N500,000 only. This caused Erica’s fans and wellwishers to troll Chidi sending hateful words towards him and calling him ‘bad luck’ blaming him for Erica’s disqualification.
Obviously unable to stomach the hate, Chidi Mike made a video firing back at Erica, her team and haters. He asked Erica if she was a beggar with the way she was behaving over the money and also gave his part of the story and divulged some untold details of the alliance between his brand and Erica’s. He said that he had supported Erica along before her disqualification and had already planned to make Erica the face of his wedding to sort of attract big names and public figures to attend.
In this contract he prepared, Chidi claimed that it was clearly stated that if Erica was not interested in working with him, he would give her half a million instead of the N2 million naira and a car that would have been attached to working with him and that is exactly what is materialising now.
He said that after making this proposal to Erica’s team, there was no acknowledgement from their part. He did not get as much as a like or repost and he took that as a message denoting that they were not interested in working with him. Judging from their silence, Chidi followed through with the clause in the contract that states that if they were not interested he would still give her the sum of N500,000.
