Former BBNaija season 7-star Eloka Nwamu popularly known as Eloswag has come to say how shocked and amazed he is to be a celebrity. The former BBNaija housemate was really amazed by his newfound fame after taking part in the BBNaija Level Up reality show.
He said his realisation of being a celebrity and the massive fan base he has gives him joy. Eloswag, who was a TV presenter and digital marketer before he became a housemate in the BBNaija house, said in a chat with Midweek Entertainment that a lot about his life changed since he partook in the program.
He said: “I can hardly go out, or walk on the street without people recognising me. However, it is still amazing to know that I am known. At the same time, I still don’t believe that people will be able to recognise me.”
Speaking on his plans to leverage the recognition garnered through the reality show, Eloswag said he would harness his talents and collaborate with brands. He added, “In the long run there are a lot of projects I will be working on. I will like you to wait and see.
BBNaija has taught me patience and how to also go about my daily tasks. It also taught me to get proof of a situation before talking about it.“ In terms of being a better person, I think the show just tends to teach you that people will always judge you regardless of if they understand the issue at hand or not. I have learnt how not to pay any mind to that.”
He said, “Wife material? Anyways I would still pick Chomzy. The reason is that our connection is on another level. I love that she is competitive and I am too. There is a lot more to it, but yes I will pick Chomzy.”
Eloswag, while explaining how he discovered his nickname, said he chose four different names before settling for his current nickname when he joined a rap music group. He said, “I had always looked for a nickname since primary school and none of them actually resonated with me. There was a time I opted for Logzi, B-flex, Manchi P, and Luna.
“All these nicknames didn’t seem to fit what I wanted. So, I just created ‘Eloswag.’ I was in secondary school when I formed the name. Back then, I was part of a music group where we basically rap. We were told to have artiste names, I then chose ‘Eloswag.’
