German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich has confirmed their interest in Erling Haaland. Bayern Munich manager Hansi Flick made this known after their against Borussia Dortmund at the weekend.
The coach believes that Haaland is the perfect replacement for Robert Lewandowski. Haaland has risen to become one of the hottest strikers in Europe attracting big clubs from all over Europe.
The Norwegian international scored twice in nine minutes in their last game against Bayern. The match, however, ended 4-2, with Lewandowski scoring a hat-trick in the game. Bayern head coach Flick was asked about Haaland and if he will be replacing Lewandowski someday, “Very, very much is possible in life, nothing can be ruled out,” he said.
He however said it will be a long time plan. Bayern signed Lewandowski from Dortmund they also signed Mario Gotze and Mats Hummels from their too so it will not surprising if they finally sign Haaland.
The likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City and Real Madrid are battling for the player and now Bayern Munich has joined the chase.
