Fc Barcelona has leapfrogged their challenger Atletico Madrid to the top four of La Liga’s table.

The Catalan side came from behind to defeat Diego Simeon side by 4 goals to 2 for the first time in six meetings.

Atleti got off to a flying start at the Camp Nou when Yannick Carrasco lashed on to a Luis Suarez pass to give the Madrid side an early lead in the eighth minute of start.

Though the home side has failed to register a goal in their last three league meetings, it took them just 2 minutes after going behind to score an equaliser.

Jordi Alba with a sublime finish met a cross from opposite full-back Dani Alves, struck the ball first-time mid-flight with his left foot which floated through the air and nestled beautifully in the top right corner of Jan Oblak’s net.
