Balarabe Musa, Former Governor of Kaduna Dies

Balarabe Musa, former governor of old Kaduna and foremost Nigerian politician, is dead.

He died today after a brief illness.

His death was confirmed in a statement via social media by Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Senator.

He wrote, “Alhaji Balarabe Musa has died. May Allah forgive his soul and grant him Aljanna firdausi. Amin.”

Musa was born on August 21, 1936, in Kaduna, but he studied at Zaria Middle School and at the Institute of Administration, Zaria. He was loved because he was a versatile accounts clerk and a school teacher.

Musa was also a chairman of the Peoples Redemption Party, PRP.

He died at the age of 84 and is survived by a wife and children.
