Cross Rivers State Governor Ben Ayade
The Cross Rivers State Governor, Senator Ben Ayade, has criticized some politicians, whom he described as people of no conscience. According to Ayade, Politicians have no conscience and always fail to promise those the electorates.
Ayade, who flagged off the into states’ Basic Health Care Provision Fund, challenged National assembly members to reveal what they have done for their constituents.
The Governor noted that Politicians pay millions to national television to advertise after donating Keke instead of spending the money to better the electorates.
Ayade further advised Politicians to stop abusing the people’s poverty. He stated that some politicians never come to Calabar until during elections.
In the meantime, the Oyo state government has received the first batch of the Keke Seyi for ease of dispatch of documents within the government office space.
The Governor Seyi Makinde-led administration said the bicycle would ensure an eco-friendly environment. Earlier, Governor Makinde had approved the sum of N750,000 to procure 60 bikes.
According to the Oyo state’s Commissioner for Energy and Natural resources, Seun Ashamu, the bicycles would be known as Keke Seyi. Ashamu said the pilot scheme would be within three months.
