Arsenal’s former skipper Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang says he is “completely healthy” after having medical checks on his heart. The 32-year-old Gabon international was ruled out of the Africa Cup of Nations after scans revealed heart lesions following a bout of Covid. The player took to social media addressing his fans saying he is fine.

According to him, he said: “Hi guys, I came back to London to do some additional checks,” And I’m very happy to say that my heart is absolutely fine.” “I’m completely healthy! Appreciate all the messages over the last few days and I’m already back at it.”
The striker Aubameyang posted this alongside an image of himself at the gym on his Instagram handle. Aubameyang has not played for Arsenal since a disciplinary breach that saw him dropping his captain band back in December. The player was not in their 2-0 lose to Liverpool in the Carabao Cup second leg semi-final; clash.
