ASUU Strike: NANS to Frustrate FG for Failing to Meet Demands

The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU strike will continue as the National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS will ensure they actualise the cause until the Federal Government meets all their demands.

Their protest against the government’s failure to meet ASUU demands started Monday and would continue from Tuesday until Wednesday if necessary, all for the sake of obtaining results.

The students have threatened that they would continue to occupy the airports until the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration act and ensure ASUU calls off the industrial action.

Already, many activities have been placed on hold as the students promised to occupy sensitive economic spots like the airports and have further pledged to barricade seaports in Lagos State right to the moment the students are asked to resume their different institutions.

On Tuesday, the union met with members of the House of Representatives to iron out issues and find a way forward in ending this setback.
