English Premier League top side Arsenal has picked Thomas Partey among the players who will model their next season kits. The 2021-22 season is around the corner and outside the signing of new players what fans will be eager to see is their various clubs home and away kits.
Arsenal officially announced the unveiling of the new kit on their official website on Friday. Thomas Partey is not the only Arsenal star piked to model the kits; Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Bukayo Saka David Luiz, and Kieran Tierney and Emile Smith Rowe were all picked as well.
The kits marked their 50th anniversary of Arsenal’s FA Cup win in 1971, and the colour also detailed as Pearl Citrine by adidas. It is similiar to that worn on Wembley half a century below. The yellow also follows a similar theme of Gunners’ away kits, with a brighter yellow on the show as recently as the 2019-20 season.
The design is completed with the traditional three Adidas stripes on the shoulders and a black-and-red trim around the collar and sleeves. The most warming aspect of the design on the jersey is the club crest or lack thereof. This time they did not go for the traditional badge.
