Arsenal football club has shutdown its Hale End Academy due to one of its staff testing positive for COVID-19.
The Hale End academy closure was announced in a statement released to the public on Thursday, October 8, 2020.
According to the statement, the COVID-19 victim is currently self isolating out of the academy.
The academy’s closure is meant to give way for proper cleaning and decontamination.
According to the statement, the positive staff is not the only one currently self-isolating.
“We can confirm that a member of staff from our Hale End Academy has tested positive for the coronavirus but is already out of the site and self-isolating.”
