Famous Nigerian clergyman Apostle Johnson Suleman has reacted to the allegation levelled against him by a Nollywood actress, Chioma Ifemeludike. The actress accused her colleague, Lynda Clem, of pimping her to Apostle Suleman.
The clergyman, the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministry, said he was not angry at those tongue-lashing him on social media, adding that he read various comments about the allegations on social media without feeling discouraged.
Apostle Suleman wondered why some people encourage him not to feel discouraged over the allegation levelled against him. The clergyman stated that his primary concern is doing the task he has been called to do.
You will recall that Ifemeludike called Lynda Clem for arranging a hookup between Apostle Suleman and herself on the 20th of November 2016 in a hotel at Ikeja.
The actress revealed that the cleric secretly gave her his number, adding that they later met at oriental hotels in Lagos. Meanwhile, Clem has denied the allegations.
EveryEvery.ng reported that a YouTuber, Israel Balogun, landed in the police net for calling out Apostle Suleman a few days after the cleric told those insulting and criticizing him on social media platforms to pay him for doing so.
The Police Force Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department in Abuja reportedly detained the YouTuber over alleged criminal defamation and cyberstalking.
Balogun had posted a video on his Youtube channel where he showed clips of Apostle Suleman declaring to his congregation that angels would deposit money into their bank accounts during ministrations in Atlanta, United States, and Auchi, Edo State.
Meanwhile, the legal counsel to Apostle Suleman, Samuel Amune, accused Balogun of going beyond the ambit of the law in ventilating his view in the video he posted on various social media platforms.
Apostle Suleman’s counsel said the clergyman has no problem with the Youtuber expressing his view but said he should have done so within the confine of the laws.
