The All Progressives Congress (APC) has described its sweeping victory in Saturday’s bye-elections across 12 states as a resounding vote of confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, said the outcome reflected the trust Nigerians have placed in the government’s policies and ongoing reforms. He noted that the ruling party’s success was not just political but a clear signal of public approval for the president’s leadership direction.
“Our victory is an emphatic endorsement of President Tinubu’s administration. Nigerians have spoken loudly and decisively in favour of the government that is steadily delivering transformation across the economy and other critical sectors of our national life,” Morka said.
He further expressed gratitude to the electorate for what he described as a “massive triumph” of APC candidates, insisting that the results demonstrate growing confidence in the ruling party.
The bye-elections, conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), were seen as a litmus test for the APC amid mounting economic challenges and rising calls for reforms. With this outcome, the ruling party believes it has secured fresh momentum to push forward its policies and governance agenda.
